Atmospheric & Haunting Singer-Songwriter
- Ann Ramsey is a musically-trained, Delaware-based singer-songwriter who specializes in acoustic, folk and traditional music in the Americana and Anglo-Celtic genres. She has a background in history and loves to set her many story-songs in unusual eras and locales.
- Ann performs live at local events, showcases, open mics, and song circles in the DE/NJ/PA area, and is described as having an atmospheric and haunting style.
- She released her first single, a protest song called The Public Enemy, 4/15/25 and her second single, Gallowglass, 6/21/25. Her first LP (Gallowglass) is scheduled for release October 1st.
- A registered Delaware Artist and grant recipient from the Delaware Division of the Arts, she also occasionally leads group workshops and song circles. Her teachers and coaches include Guy Van Duser, Teddy Thompson, John Gorka, Eliza Gilkyson, and Korby Lenker.
